Austin Barnett
Austin Barnett was born and raised in Mount Sterling, Kentucky where he spent his teenage years getting lost in the world of video games, comics and fantasy novels. As an adult Austin moved with his lovely wife to the hills of eastern Kentucky, where he still tends to get lost in the same worlds he did as a teen. In his free time Austin likes to attend Comic Conventions and work on his novel he will probably never finish.

With rumors circulating that Ben Affleck would be retiring from the role of Batman, Director Matt Reeves has been meeting with other actors to potentially play the Dark Knight in his upcoming Batman film. Revenge of the Fans reports that Reeves has been seeking a much younger actor to play Batman; as in 10-15 years younger than Affleck.

One of these Actors is said to be Jack Huston, probably most known for his role as Ben-Hur in the Ben-Hur movie released in 2016. Since Reeves wants to go towards the Batman:Year One direction for his movie, a much younger Batman is understandable. With Affleck on edge about his future as the Caped Crusader, no one could blame Reeves for looking elsewhere and taking the character in a different direction. The real question is, can Huston do the role justice and bring the figure of Batman to life? Huston isn’t as well known as Affleck, of course, but getting some under the radar actors has seemed to be working for DC so far; as seen with the casting of Ezra Miller as Flash and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.¬† This is just a rumor and we will probably learn more in the next coming weeks.
