More of a character study and bit more melodramatic than its propulsive predecessor, “Greenland 2” is still a worthy successor to an underrated success, one that is sure to be satisfactory for fans even if it at times feels like a retread of diminishing returns.

“Nobody 2” feels half baked and undercooked, and while there’s some fun to be had sometimes it’s all but forgotten by the time you get home.
“I Know What You Did Last Summer” feels more unnecessary than even the most unnecessary sequels out there. It has forgettable, second screen watchability and is hardly fit for the big screen.
Everything and everyone in “M3GAN 2.0” is just shooting in the dark, and what should be an upgrade ends up being malware, a virus that corrupts your eyeballs and forces a hard reset of your mind.
“Meg 2: The Trench” isn’t even dumb fun, it’s just dumb; vapid and void of all the things that made the first one so entertaining and commits all of the worst sequel mistakes to deliver a dull, often Meg-less, Meh-ga disappointment.
The running joke throughout “Fury of the Gods” is that Billy Batson/Shazam lacks the Wisdom of Solomon. Apparently so does this sequel.
“Enola Holmes 2” doubles down on the strengths of its predecessors, relying heavily on the charm of Brown and Cavill to tell a rather forgettable detective mystery
“Hocus Pocus 2” is as good as the original and whatever that means to you, you’re probably right.
