“Bottoms” is wild, outrageous, unbelievable, and downright absurd. But somehow, it all somehow works in this hilarious film.
“Blue Beetle” is a ton of fun, and hits all the right beats of good time at the movies even if those beats are familiar to most.
“Strays” doesn’t have a whole lot to offer outside of its schtick, but the jokes land more often than not thanks to a strong voice cast and a thin layer of character for each of our doggie protagonists.
“Gran Turismo” overcomes its cliche ridden narrative to deliver an engaging, high octane thrill ride, one that soars when it hits the track with stylish action set pieces, elevated performances, and is executed well enough to really leave you on the edge of your seat.
“The Last Voyage of the Demeter” feels lost at sea, unable to tell its own story with confident execution and therefore failing as a justified prequel.
“Good Omens” season 2 is phenomenal and you all need to watch it.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” gets almost everything right, delivering a cowabunga blast of movie fun with a solid blend of heart, humor, and action.
“Meg 2: The Trench” isn’t even dumb fun, it’s just dumb; vapid and void of all the things that made the first one so entertaining and commits all of the worst sequel mistakes to deliver a dull, often Meg-less, Meh-ga disappointment.
“They Cloned Tyrone” is an inventive and unique genre bending film that falls in the good decision category for the streaming giant.
