Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.

The entertainment giant, owned by Disney, is struggling to find content during the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike. Chances are, this move is to fill the release-less gap. The news came this morning in the way of a short behind the scenes (bts) featurette for “Loki.”Tom Hiddleston and Ownen Wilson return, as well as Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, and Jonathan Majors. We are pretty excited to see Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan…

Season 1 is currently streaming on MAX. Season 2 hits October 5th, 2023.

If you’ll recall, “The Hunger Games” is the first film in a 4-film (now 5 with “Ballad”) series. Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence starred as Katniss Everdeen, along with Josh Hutcherson as Peeta, and Liam Hemsworth as Gale. It,…

Comics legend Alan Moore, creative mind behind such industry milestones as “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen,” “From Hell,” and “V for Vendetta” has taken a very interesting stand on the matter of royalties for one of his most high-profile projects. Apparently, Moore has requested DC Comics, publisher and rights holder for most of those works, to not send him (or any other creatives on said projects) royalties from the film and television adaptation of “Watchmen.” “I don’t really feel, with the recent films, that they have stood by what I assumed were their original principles,” Moore told the UK Telegraph.…

“OUTRAGEIOUS.” Consider us suitably excited for any news about a possible Lando Calrissian project, especially since this one is from Donald Glover and his writer brother, Stephen Glover. Long rumored to still be clinging to life despite the box office shortcomings of “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” a Lando solo project is finally taking some big strides forward.
