First and foremost, this tease is really short. So short we debated about even COVERING it, but anything we can glean from Amazon’s “The Wheel of Time” has us interested and excited. The high fantasy series is reportedly finishing up production on the first season (so says Rosamond Pike), and this snipet of audio is our first aural feel of what the series will be like. We’re hoping this means a real trailer or character photos aren’t far behind. We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other projects.

What a perfect time to cancel the apocalypse, so thanks to Netflix for releasing these first look images at their upcoming “Pacific Rim” anime. A partnership between the streaming giant and Legendary Pictures, “Pacific Rim: The Black” will debut in 2021. We don’t know the names of these characters yet, or what category the above Kaiju is, but we will of course let you know anything we find out. This just in- sounds like the next video game franchise Netflix will be diving into is none other than Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed! As announced this morning, the streaming service giant has closed a deal to produce a project within the animus universe, kicking off with a live-action television series. We’ve needed to take most of today to start to write this incredible bit of news, but it would appear that NASA has actually, truly, found water on the Moon. NASA’s Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) confirmed this morning that while viewing the sunlit surface of the moon, a detection of honest-to-goodness water.
