In what online “Star Wars” fans are calling a well-deserved promotion, LucasFilm has added another title to Dave Filoni’s already impressive list. Filoni’s official profile on LucasFilm’s leadership website now reads Executive Producer / Executive Creative Director. You can see the listing here: Fellow title holders include John Knoll and Doug Chiang. Variety Senior Entertainment Writer Adam Vary points out this isn’t a new position, just a tech update. Marvel Studios fans have several treats on the calendar in the coming weeks. Perhaps the most anticipated is the premiere of Disney+’s next live action series, “Loki.” Starring Tom Hiddleston as the notorious god of mischief, this time travel adventure will no doubt provide fans with all kinds of new reasons to love the trickster.
