James Gunn has confirmed yet another beloved DC Comics character will be making their debut in his upcoming “Superman” film. Krypto the Superdog!Gunn confirmed the news via his X (formerly Twitter) account, posting a video that shows actor David Corenswet, who is playing Clark Kent / Superman in the film, alongside Ozu, who is playing Krypto.”Krypto arrives on screens in Superman this summer. Prime Video’s animated superhero series “Invincible” is returning for it’s third season in the new year. Walt Disney Studios has just officially shared the first image from their upcoming sequel to “Freaky Friday,” “Freakier Friday!” The film sees the return of both Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis as Tess Coleman, and Lindsay Lohan as Anna. At long last, Paramount+ has released a trailer for the upcoming 5th season of “Star Trek: Lower Decks.” While we are heartbroken it’s the last season for the animated series, we’re grateful for the trek. We talk a lot about Frank Herbert’s seminal work of science fiction “Dune.” There’s a reason for that. It inspired countless other process across literature, film, television, music, and even video games. It is an enduring tale that seems to catch the attention of each new generation. Oscar winner Christopher Nolan has a new film in the works. Obviously, this is cause for celebration, right? Even moreso when we find out he has Matt Damon on the docket to star. The first trailer for the upcoming Bob Dylan biopic “A Complete Unknown” has been released. Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet stars as the American singer/songwriter Nobel Prize winner (for literature), chronicling his life and career during the 1965 Newport Folk Festival and beyond. Dylan himself is serving as an executive producer. The cast includes Elle Fanning (“The Great“) as Sylvie Russo, and Monica Barbaro (“Top Gun: Maverick“) as Joan Baez. Edward Norton will play the legendary Pete Seeger. James Mangold (“Logan”) directs, from a script he wrote with Jay Cocks. It’s due out in theaters this Christmas. Check out the trailer now:
