Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.

Infinite diversity in infinite combinations leading way to an idealized future where peace and understanding were the name of the game. Adam Mazer is reportedly tackling the script for the project, which is in the early phases of development. Rod Roddenberry, son of Gene and Majel Barrett Roddenberry, and Trevor Roth…

We are so very pleased to share some of the first official images from Amazon Prime’s upcoming series “The Wheel of Time.” Based on the book series by Robert Jordan (and later finished by Brandon Sanderson following Jordan’s passing), this ain’t your ordinary fantasy epic. Comparing it to something like “Game of Thrones” isn’t really fair, not to mention accurate. There is magic here, there are past lives remembered, prophecies to fulfill, hidden parentage, and some really bad ass strong women. Originally ordered to series back in 2018, the show was greenlit for a second season (and has already started…

Is there anything more soothing than watching the great Bob Ross paint some plein air scenes? We’d like to think there isn’t. Perhaps what it is, aside from Bob’s super soothing voice and positive vibe, is the wholesome view we all have of the late presenter. What most fans DON’T know is the very true backstory of the man behind “The Joy Of Painting.” Which is about to change, thanks to director Joshua Rofé, and his upcoming Netflix documentary film, “Bob Ross: Happy Accidents, Betrayal & Greed.”This morning, Netflix revealed the first trailer, some images, and a synopsis for the…

When AMC announced they had picked up the options for pretty much all of author Anne Rice’s iconic tomes, we were absolutely ecstatic. Rice, who’s impactful “Interview With The Vampire” sort of started a creature of the night modern renaissance, created rich worlds with dark and beautiful (albeit whiney) characters. The deal wasn’t JUST for “Interview With A Vampire” and corresponding titles (like “Vampire Lestat,” “Queen of the Damned,” “Armand,” and more), but also included “The Mayfair Witches” series, which [SPOILER] does eventually tie into the Vampire Chronicles. Today’s news, shared during AMC’s TCA presentation, included confirmation that a writer’s…
