It sounds like Oscar winning actress Brie Larson is going to learn about family. According to Vin Diesel, the “Captain America” star is joining the “Fast & Furious” franchise! Earlier this morning, the official account for the George Miller-created “Mad Max” franchise teased…something. We know there’s at least one film on the horizon- “Furiosa.” This could just be confirmation that filming is still on track to kick off soon. It could also maybe be an update on that mysterious “Mad Max: Fury Road” auction from last year. This just in-The Academy of Motion Pictures has voted to officially ban Academy Award winner Will Smith from attending the Oscars ceremony for 10 years. “I accept and respect the Academy’s decision,” Smith said in a statement to CNN.This comes after the actor’s conduct during the 2022 event where he slapped comedian Chris Rock, following an in poor taste joke told at Jada Pinkett-Smith’s expense. **UPDATE** The song is out now! Pink Floyd, icons of progressive rock and beyond, are doing something they haven’t done in 28 years. David Gilmour and Nick Mason have recorded a new song titled ““Hey, Hey Rise Up!” that will release on April 8th, 2022. The song release will be accompanied by a music video by Matt Whitecross. According to a press release, proceeds from the song and video will benefit the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund.

This just in-we’re finally getting an edit button on Twitter! After many years of requests for such a thing, the social media platform is making good on their promise. True, the promise was posted on April Fool’s Day, but this is great! Oddly enough, this announcement was made the same day former Tesla CEO Elon Musk purchased a 9% stake and seat on the board of Twitter. The company also claims this new feature was not due to Musk’s poll. We’ll let you know when the new feature gets rolled out.

This just in-HBO Max is currently developing TWO scripted series based on the beloved works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes! Not only that, but Robert Downey Jr. and Lionel Wigram are both executive producing. Obviously, Downey Jr. starred as Detective Holmes in two live action films, and Wigram produced both (as well as getting a story credit). At present, there’s no information about whether or not RDJr. will be acting in either project. This news was first reported by THR. We’ll let you know what else we hear about this and other projects.
