Diego Luna is back as “Star Wars” rebellion hero Cassian Andor in Disney+’s next series. “Andor” will detail the life of Cassian before the events of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” and already has a second season in development. We are so very sorry to share the news that Pat Carroll, veteran actor, has passed away. Scores of Disney fans would know her best as the voice of Ursula the Sea Witch from the animated classic, “The Little Mermaid.” Patricia Ann Carroll was born May 5, 1927 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was 95 at the time of her passing. One of our favorite moments with Pat was this fabulous day she spend with Ariel voice actress Jodi Benson when the Little Mermaid ride opened at Disneyland California Adventure Park.

We are so very sorry to share the news that Nichelle Nichols, “Star Trek” and civil rights icon, has passed away. The news was confirmed by her official social media channels. Nichols was one of the first stars of Gene Roddenbery’s original “Star Trek” series, which first aired September 8th, 1966. Perhaps one of the more famous stories about the Original Series came about when Nichols wanted to leave the show. This just in-we are delighted to share the news that Matt Frewer will be returning as a pretty iconic character. Max Headroom, cyberpunk icon from the mid 80s, will be making a comeback on AMC. Not only that, but Frewer will be reprising the role. Christopher Cantwell, co-creator one of my personal favorite series “Halt and Catch Fire,” is penning the project, and will act as showrunner. This just in-it would appear there is a real reason for the ongoing delay for the next “Tomb Raider” film. According to reports, MGM Studios has lost the battle for ownership rights to the franchise. The rights have reverted to Graham King and GK Films. Earlier this week, rumors of bidding wars from streaming services and other studios were rampant, and now we know why. It’s also worth noting Square Enix, who was the video game publisher for the Tomb Raider titles, also recently sold their stake in the franchise.This also means any possible sequels starring Alicia Vikander are unlikely.Amazon…
