In 2022, action star Bruce Willis announced his retirement from the silver screen. The reason was a diagnosis of aphasia. His family has revealed it’s a more serious condition than previously thought. Willis has Frontotemporal Dementia, or FTD. A degenerative brain disorder, the prognosis is tragic. There is no cure, and it’s not familiar to many. At the very least, it’s a relief to Willis’ family to have a complete diagnosis.
