Scientists have managed to create and implement living skin for robots. Their aim is to make these robots more approachable in the service and medical industries. Robotics has made many leaps and bounds into the territory of creating believable androids, this is just one more step in that direction. While human skin has been successfully recreated for skin grafts and burn victims, this discovery is purely for robots. The first documented albino giant tortoise has been hatched! To date, there has never been another documented in captivity or in the wild. While it’s probably not the first, this is the first one the world has seen. The zoo is calling it the first of its kind. The hatchling emerged on May 1st at the Tropiquarium Zoo in Servion, Switzerland. On May 5th, its darker colored sibling hatched. A recut horror trailer has audiences enthralled with scary scenes, ominous music, and a sense that nothing is what it seems. This is exactly the type of disturbing film we’d see coming from A24.
