Those who love Survivor LOVE Jeff Probst. There’s no such thing as a fan of the show that doesn’t love the man. Part of that obsession is spotting him in other formats. His podcast for one, On Fire with Jeff Probst: The Official Survivor Podcast is just as popular as the show. I also caught him recently on an episode of The Price is Right with Drew Carrey. So now knowing that he was supposed to have a cameo in Sam Raimi’s 2026 survival thriller Send Help I can’t help but feel a little disappointed. The writers of Sam Raimi’s…

Another one bites the dust. The Ocean’s Eleven’s prequel project has now lost it’s director Lee Isaac Chung. He’s reportedly left the production over creative differences with Warner Bros. and LuckyChap Entertainment. Margot Robbie is set to produce and star in the upcoming film, but losing yet another director is a huge setback. Chung had originally taken over after Jay Roach exited the project earlier in development. The prequel which was written by Carrie Solomon was planned to be a 1960s-set heist story in Europe that expands the world of the long-running Ocean’s franchise. Robbie is expected to lead the…

Disney’s not shy to remake beloved films into live-action versions. They’ve done everything from Snow White to Lilo and Stitch. Currently they’re working on a live-action Moana. So when it was announced in 2020 we kind of just accepted the reality that yet another classic Disney film would get the live-action treatment. Originally announced in 2020 for Disney+, this project was intended to be a photorealistic musical hybrid of live-action and CGI. It would have been interesting to see what they would do with it. They could have leaned heavily into the furry aesthetic. Heck I know a bunch of folks who…

The series is of course inspired by the comic strip created by Jim Davis. For decades he entertained us with Garfield comics in the funny pages of the newspaper. Now again, Garfield will grace our screens in a brand new cartoon. Paramount+ has officially announced a new…

If you’re waiting for a sequel to the latest The Naked Gun you might have to wait. The good news is that we’ve learned that a sequel is being discussed. Unfortunately however, the decision lives and dies with Paramount. Produced by Seth MacFarlane and starring Liam Neeson as Frank Drebin Jr, the 2025 reboot of The Naked Gun did really well at the box office. In fact it made more than $100 million worldwide. Basically proving that the audience was there should they want to make another one. “I know everyone would love to, including Liam,” “We have not heard…
