Hollywood has been littered with remakes of popular IPs for decades now, some successful, some not so much. “Running Man” star Arnold Schwarzenegger recently spoke with Edgar Wright about his upcoming remake of the dystopian action film. In a video posted to Wright’s Instagram, we see the wholesome exchange. We have some GREAT news! After almost 50 years of playing second banana to a frog, The Muppets’ own Miss Piggy is getting a movie. Tony winner Cole Escola (“Oh, Mary!”) will be penning the script, with Jennifer Lawrence (“Die My Love”) and Emma Stone (“Bugonia”) producing.  This will be Miss Piggy’s first solo project. Artists having their work stolen to train AI is one of the biggest arguments against the emerging technology. And bigger companies are starting to fight back against this. Like Dreamworks putting a notice in the credits of “The Bad Guys 2” saying it couldn’t be used to train AI. CODA, a Japanese content trade group that includes Studio Ghibli and Square Enix, has requested OpenAI to stop using its work to train Sora 2. Macaulay Culkin is celebrating the 35th anniversary of “Home Alone” by reprising his role as Kevin McCallister in a new ad for Home Instead. We have some fun news for all you “Eloise” fans out there. Netflix is developing a live-action film based on the beloved children’s books by Kay Thompson, illustrated by Hilary Knight. Amy Sherman-Palladino (“Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”) will direct and co-write, and Ryan Reynolds will produce and co-star.  The live-action “Eloise” film will star newcomer Mae Schenk as the titular character. Reynolds is described as playing an “original villainous character.” Principal photography for the project is set to start this month. Happy Godzilla Day to all who celebrate! Toho Studios has already given us a huge bit of Kaiju news. Director Takashi Yamazaki is helming a sequel for his Oscar-winning “Godzilla Minus One,” called “Godzilla Minus Zero!” Like the first film, the title is also being stylized as “Godzilla -0.0.” The title was announced by the studio during a celebration event in Tokyo earlier this morning.
