In February, news broke of multi-Oscar winning director Sam Mendes (“1917”) making FOUR biopics about music legends The Beatles. Instead of one film focusing on the band, the projects will show their meteoric rise from the perspective of members John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. Starr has confirmed that Barry Keoghan (“Saltburn”) will be playing him on the film. On November 24th, hundreds of people flocked to Auditorium Shores in hopes of being dubbed Glen Powell 2.0. On November 22, Disney announced that Muppet*Vision 3D is closing at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This revolutionary interactive film experience will end to make way for the Monstropolous attraction in Monsters, Inc. Land, which was announced at D23 2024. Two people in Umbria, Italy inadvertently got to play a real life versions of Lara Croft. While excavating on their own land, they unearthed Etruscan burial chambers and several precious artifacts, according to Perugia Chief Prosecutor Raffaele Cantone. Instead of reporting their discovery, they decided to try to sell the artifacts on the black market. This discovery was made in Citta della Pieve, about 90 miles north of Rome.
