Barbie isn’t the only Mattel property getting developed into a movie. The toymaker revealed there are a total of 45 Mattel-related projects currently in the works. One of Kevin Spacey’s most iconic roles was Joe Doe in the movie “Se7en.” You know, the morality-obsessed killer who puts Gwyneth Paltrow’s head into a box? During the actor’s trial in London for sexual assault, one of his accusers compared him to Doe. As a part of the trial, the court was shown a pre-recorded interview the police conducted with one of Spacey’s accusers as evidence. His accusers’ names are unknown, since British law prohibits their release. A now viral video posted to Twitter reportedly shows actor Jackie Chan reacting to his old stunts with his daughter. The issue is, that’s not his daughter Etta Ng Chok-Lam, its actress Liu Haocun. This clip is not of a touching moment with his estranged daughter, but simply an excerpt from Chan’s movie “Ride On” that has been completely mis-captioned.  While those without context praised Chan for being such a good father, other commenters were quick to correct the faulty caption. On June 30th, a fire broke out on the lot at Warner Bros. studio in Burbank. Sources say the power went out before a bunch of dark smoke began emanating from the lot. Several bystanders posting images and videos of it on social media.  Around 1:38 pm PT, the Burbank Fire Department received a call that a transformer had blown, and was now on fire. The department was able to react quickly and had the fire out within 30 minutes. Because of this, the blaze stayed localized to a far end of the lot,  ironically near its own fire station.…

There has been a looming threat of a strike by the Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) for a while now. But those waiting to see if they will join the ongoing Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike, will have to wait a bit longer.  Contract negotiations between SAG-AFTRA and Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) had a deadline of June 30th. Ever since Disney announced a live-action adaptation of their animated film “Lilo & Stitch,” there have been rumors about some of the original voice cast returning. Six Flags Magic Mountain in Los Angeles, California will make history by installing a 30-acre solar farm on its property! According to political strategist, pundit, and writer Cheri Jacobus, this 12-megawatt solar carport will be installed over the visitor and employee parking lot. No trees should need to be cut down. Plus, it will provide shade for cars along with powering the park.  The site is expected to produce 20.8 million kilowatt hours of energy annually.
