Hard to believe it’s been 20 years since the very first “Fast & Furious” film hit theaters. The franchise immediately struck a chord with both the culture of young street car racers, and those who craved a slightly outrageous action series. The 9th chapter in the motorized “its’ about family” epic is due out later this year, and Universal is pulling no punches with the nostalgia.
A new featurette was released this morning, celebrating “The Originals” who launched the series back on June 22nd, 2001, some of whom have stayed all the way to “Fast 9.”
Here’s what Universal had to say about the new vid, and the upcoming film:
