If your answer to that question isn’t HELL YES, then maybe you won’t really care about this bit of awesome news. Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron is hosting a drive-in screening of “Mad Max: Fury Road” at The Gove in Los Angeles, CA at the end of the month.
On July 31st, Theron will host a screening of “Fury Road” on the roof of The Grove’s parking garage, and she’ll be joined for an in-person Q&A along with costar Nicholas Hoult, who played Warboy Nux.
True, the price tag of a ticket is a hefty $1,000 but there’s a reason- every dollar of that will benefit the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, which invests in organizations that promote the health, education and community support of youth in Africa. And, each ticket includes dinner from Blue Ribbon Sushi, and Edo by Edoardo Baldi. In addition, CTAOP will host a silent auction tied to the event.
