Most toys based on horror franchises depict the villains and Scream is no exception. With most figures being either Ghostface or one of the many maniacs who have donned the mask over the past several decades. Now, Funko POP! plans to adapt some of the franchise’s other mainstays, namely Sidney Prescott, Gale Weathers, and Dewey Riley.
The core trio’s appearance will be based on the 2022 reboot, and not Wes Craven’s original 1996 film. Sidney’s POP! Is holding a gun, because she is “Sidney fucking Prescott,” so of course she has a gun. Gale reminds us that she is sometimes a serious journalist by holding a notepad and pen. We guess she got rid of the hidden camera bag that Dewey got her. Which brings us to the hero cop himself, who holds a knife in one hand and a Ghostface mask in the other.
Pre-orders for these new Scream POP!s open on Wednesday, September 23 at 9 am (PT).
