    Prime Video’s The Greatest Brings Muhammad Ali’s Story to Life This November

    Prime Video’s The Greatest Sets Release Date and Unveils First Look at the Life of Muhammad Ali

    Fans are getting their first glimpse at Prime Video’s highly anticipated limited series, The Greatest! The series will be an authorized telling of the extraordinary life of Muhammad Ali. the legendary boxer.

    Prime has officially announced that the eight-episode drama will premiere in November. The also just released the series’ first teaser trailer.

    Instead of focusing only on Ali’s boxing career, the series promises to explore the man behind the gloves. His family, personal relationships, and the defining moments that shaped him. He was one of the most influential figures in sports history. Now we get to find out why, and how he got there.

    Producing and Other Details

    Jaalen Best stars as Muhammad Ali, portraying his journey from Cassius Clay to Muhammad Ali. The cast also features Michael Ealy as Malcolm X, Amin Joseph as Sonny Liston, Giovanni Ribisi as his famed trainer Angelo Dundee.

    This series is the first “authorized” scripted adaptation of Ali’s life. It’s important that you read the “authorized” part. It means that this series will be the first telling of his life that is accurate to how he and his loved ones wanted it portrayed. The Greatest is executive produced by Lonnie Ali, the boxing legend’s widow. She, alongside Michael B. Jordan are executive producing. Showrunner Ben Watkins has said the goal is to tell stories audiences haven’t seen before. Offering a more intimate portrait of Ali beyond the iconic fights and unforgettable interviews.

    The newly released teaser offers an emotional first look at the champion’s rise to greatness. It highlights both his athletic achievements and his lasting cultural impact. From his early years as Cassius Clay to his transformation into Muhammad Ali. The series appears ready to capture the triumphs, challenges, and convictions that made him a worldwide icon.

    The Greatest premieres on Prime Video November 4th, 2026
