Nerdbot is pleased to announce that Anime Fire’s official teaser for “Cyberpunk: Recall” is now live! This is an ambitious live-action fan film and a proper homage to the world of Cyberpunk.
In the teaser you will get your first real sense of what they have been working on. An original story with the kind of high-octane action and visuals you can expect from a tale set in the neon-lit, perilous underworld of Night City.
Set between the events of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Cyberpunk 2077, Cyberpunk: Recall follows V as he uncovers a series of erased memories that may reveal the truth behind a forgotten mission, a missing Data Shard, and a secret powerful enough to change the world.
The film puts a fine point on memory and identity in a future where the distinction between man and machine has all but vanished. This film boasts a cast to match the action. Starring Zach Aguilar as David Martinez, Jason Faunt as Future V, and Colin K. Bass as V. The team has set out to make something that thrill those new to the franchise as well as OG fans. Anime Fire’s creative team has put in the work to honor the source material while putting their own spin on it.
What you see in the trailer is the result of a labor of love from Anime Fire. There are some impressive practical effects and costumes on display. The desire to be faithful to the cyberpunk aesthetic is in full focus in this teaser.
