HBO’s classic late 80s series, Tales From The Crypt, has never been (legally) available to stream, until now… All 7 seasons will be making their digital debut on Shudder, uncensored!
As a part of the horror streamer’s Halfway to Halloween celebration.

The first season will hit Shudder on May 1st. After that, new seasons will roll out every Friday until June 12th. The voice of the original Crypt Keeper, John Kassir, made the announcement at Overlook Film Festival, where he revealed an all-new teaser and poster art in a panel for the series.
The original series is inspired by EC Comics from the 1950s. This horror anthology series had self-contained stories hosted by the Crypt Keeper (Kassir). A beloved character known for his corny jokes and morbid sense of humor.
It boasted some serious A-list talent like Brad Pitt, Demi Moore, Michael J. Fox, John Lithgow, Christopher Reeve, Catherine O’Hara, Steve Buscemi, and Brooke Shields. With the iconic IP drawing directors like Robert Zemeckis, Tobe Hooper, and William Friedkin.
The show has been bogged down in notorious rights issues for decades. Limiting its availability to physical media boxsets.
