This month free streaming service Tubi added 250 episodes of Sesame Street to the platform. As a mom and long time fan of Sesame Street, I’m grateful it’s somewhere easy to access. And best of all the episodes are not behind some kind of paywall like other streaming services.
The episodes hosted on Tubi span from the beginning of the series all the way to Season 38. They also stated that they will replace about 10% of that programming with additional episodes over time.
One of the best things about Tubi is that parents have the ability to set up “kid safe” accounts. These accounts are ones that have kid safe ads and don’t choose the ads based on personal info or profiles. So you can put on Sesame Street for the kids and not have to worry about ads.
Previously when HBO became HBO MAX they hosted Sesame Street on their platform. Now, Netflix has a deal with Sesame Workshop to stream brand new episodes. So if you want something free but not completely current, Tubi is the pick. If you want something newer, Netflix would be the way to go.
