Between March 6th and 10th, there have been 8 reported Bigfoot sightings in northeast Ohio. According to The Bigfoot Society Podcast, this has been the most documented activity for the creature since the 1970s.
The most recent sighting reported was on March 10 near Lake Milton.

Bigfoot Does Ohio
The first sighting happened near Mantua Center, Ohio. The witness saw a 9-foot-tall brown-haired figure at 12:23 P.M. and reported it to the Bigfoot Mapping Project.
On March 7th, around 7 P.M., near Cuyahoga Falls, someone saw what they thought was a hog in their trash. That is, until the “hog” then stood up on two legs. When they looked at it with a flashlight, the face was “primitive but human-like” with its hair hanging in dirty dreadlocks. It was roughly 7-feet-tall and disappeared into the woods. The witness reported it to The Bigfoot Mapping Project a few days later.
That same day at 10:52 P.M., Dylan Obney was walking in the woods in Mantua Center when he heard something approaching. He saw in the distance an 8-foot-tall creature with dark brown hair and long arms who emitted a “deep echoing grunt.” Two large footprints were found near the scene.
On March 9th at 10:20 A.M., a hiker in Garretsville, maybe 15-minutes from Mantua Center, also saw Bigfoot. However, they described it as an 8-foot-tall creature with all-black hair. By 11:47 A.M., in Garretsville, Jacob Taylor and an anonymous friend were hiking. They saw a 10-foot-tall all-black figure with a heavy musky odor.
Also on March 9th at 6 P.M. in Windham Township, a 6-foot-tall brown figure came out of the woods at the end of someone’s backyard, then sprinted back in. Then, at 8 P.M. in Streetsboro, an anonymous woman was driving Route 303 with their daughter near Tinker’s Creek. Their car got within a few feet of a creature that popped up near the road before disappearing into the swamp area. They describe it as a 6 and half foot tall brown animal with a blurred face and no visible eyes.
On March 10th at 4 A.M. in Newton Township, the witnesses’ German shepherd was let out to use the bathroom. The dog went ballistic, and the owner saw an 8- to 10-foot-tall “large black shadow” that did not resemble a bear. When the dog came inside, they were “shaking with fear.”
At 10:30 P.M. near Lake Milton, a woman saw a large animal that “didn’t seem like no deer.” It was 6- to 7-feet-tall with big, fast, muscular arms and moving near her pond. Through, she describes its fur as more reddish or rust colored than others. This report marked 8 Bigfoot sightings in just 120 hours.
Reactions
“It’s normal for there to be Bigfoot sightings all over the United States, but it’s not normal to have multiple sightings in a small area within a short number of days,” Jeremiah Byron, host of the podcast, told Fox 8.
It’s also clear from Byron’s updates that he believes they are tracking a cluster of Bigfoots, not just one singular entity. Which is why descriptions about their appearance tend to differ.
“The Bigfoot community is extremely excited because we thought we’d never live through anything like this again where there’s a massive amount of sightings in such a short amount of time,” explains Byron.
So if you’re in the Ohio area, keep a camera handy. You may just be the one to finally get a shot of the notoriously unphotogenic cryptid.
