Johnny Knoxville Says “Jackass 5” is “The Natural Place To End”

All good things must come to an end, and apparently the same goes for the Jackass films. Series star and co-creator Johnny Knoxville has confirmed that “Jackass 5” will be the end of the franchise.

An impressive run considering it’s basically a bunch of people hurting themselves for over 25 years.

The MTV reality stunt show first launched in 2000 and ran for 3 seasons, followed by (soon-to-be) 5 feature films. It stars stuntmen Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Jason “Wee Man” Acuña, Dave England, and formally Bam Margera and the late Ryan Dunn. Not to mention a revolving cast of guest stars and stuntmen.

But now the cast says this “will be the last one.” “This is the natural place to end,” Knoxville told Rolling Stone. “So it’s going to be absolutely awful.”

And when the interviewer wished him luck he doubled down on that claim. “You hope it doesn’t go well at all! Should be a f*cking train wreck,” he responded. “That’s what you should hope for. I think we designed it that way.”

“Jackass 5” will hit theaters on June 26th, 2026.
