We have some fantastic news for all you Apple fans out there. RR Auction has several historic pieces up for its “Steve Jobs & the Computer Revolution: The Apple 50th Anniversary Auction.” The event opened on January 6th and will run through January 29th.
Apple officially turns 50 on April 1st.

“Steve Jobs & the Computer Revolution: The Apple 50th Anniversary Auction” consists of 191 lots, with the company’s first check being one of the most coveted items. The bank document is signed by Apple co-founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak and is already expected to go for as high as a half-million.
Dated March 16th, 1976, the Wells Fargo check is issued from Apple Computer’s original bank account to Howard Cantin. Cantin is the engineer that designed the printed circuit board for the Apple-1, one of the company’s first major products. This check also technically pre-dates Apple since it was issues a few weeks before the company was offically launched.

More Apple History
Other items include the Apple-1 Computer’s prototype motherboard, several vintage computers, 70s and 80s marketing posters, floppy drives, and more.
Including Jobs desk from the bedroom of his family home in Los Altos, California. The same house where Jobs and Wozniak assembled the brand’s first computers in its now famous garage. This desk contains paperwork and items from Job’s life, pre-Apple, with many of the documents being from his time with Hewlett-Packard.

There is even a factory sealed original, 1st generation 4GB iPhone. Which RR refers to as the “the ‘holy grail’ of all modern Apple products.”
“The 4GB iPhone is the rarest of all original iPhones, as it was discontinued by Apple on September 5, 2007, just over two months after the pioneering product’s debut. Priced at $499, the 4GB iPhone model encountered lackluster sales as most consumers opted for the $100 upgrade to double its storage capacity to 8GB,” the listing explains.
