Best Black Friday Grab: Edifier QR65 Speakers

One thing that can be really hit or miss for me are computer speakers. If you get the small cheap ones, the sound is also cheap. For me when I buy a full blown speaker system it’s more likely for the television than for my PC. So when I found these Edifier QR65 Active Monitor Speakers which also double as a blue tooth speaker I was pretty excited to try them.

I’ve been using them as basement speakers, and they’ve really impressed me with how clear and full their sound is. When the audio is turned up there is no audible distortion so I know that these are well made. The sound carries well too. If I have something on in the basement I can hear it clearly through the floor of my home. Which isn’t ideal all of the time but is a testament to how nice these speakers are. It really makes a big difference for people who like to sing along to things without hearing themselves.

The build feels well thought out. The 2.75-inch mid-woofers are paired with a 1.25-inch tweeter and the cabinet is designed to minimize resonance. The frequency range is broad (down to 55 Hz), so the bass hits low enough to feel full without needing a subwoofer. I’ve always disliked subwoofers personally. These have Bluetooth 5.3 (with LDAC support), USB-A, and RCA inputs give you flexibility depending on how you want to hook them up. They include a sub-out which means you can always add a dedicated sub if you want even more low end later.

These speakers are a great pick for someone who wants high-quality audio for music, gaming, or movies without needing a huge setup. They sound clean and have great bass for their size. I like that you can use them interchangeably with Bluetooth and the computer without having to unplug it from the computer to do so.

These have so many functions that you can use! If you download the app you can control things like the lights, equalizer options and a whole lot more. It is compatible with EDIFIER ConneX App for additional functions, including playback control, sound effects switch and customization, light effects switch and customization. More than 16 million customizable light effects can be created using the EDIFIER Connex App.

With the bundled aluminum speaker stands, the sound coloration effects can be diminished effectively, which arise from the sound reflection against the desktop surface. Additionally, the 10-degree angle of the stand is designed to direct the sound precisely at ear level when the speaker is mounted on the desktop.

You can pick these up by visiting here. I recommend picking them up for Black Friday either for yourself or as a gift for someone who loves music and podcasts.
