Profit With Purpose: Soft2Bet’s Uri Poliavich on Using iGaming Tech to Transform Global Education

In the iGaming industry, success is often measured by revenue charts, market share, and award counts. Yet profit can be more than a scoreboard. In the right hands, it can become a force that changes lives far beyond the gaming floor.

Founded in 2016 by Uri Poliavich, Soft2Bet has proven that growth in gaming can fuel impact in the real world. Under Poliavich’s leadership, every gain in engagement, market reach, and technological innovation is seen not only as a business win but as a way to create surplus revenue that funds global educational initiatives.

Let’s explore how Soft2Bet converts its gaming surplus into tangible impact: building classrooms, training educators, and safeguarding cultural heritage.

Turning Engagement into Surplus for Education

The turning point in Uri Poliavich success story came in 2024 with the launch of MEGA, the Motivational Engineering Gaming Application. Rather than relying on an ever-expanding game library, MEGA reimagined the player journey using behavioral science.

Progress tracking, customized challenges, frequent achievable rewards, and tailored incentives made every interaction feel purposeful and rewarding.

    The effect was dramatic:

    • Player screen time increased fourfold.
    • Net Gaming Revenue climbed by 65 percent.
    • Average deposits rose by 50 percent
    • Deposit frequency grew by 30 percent.

For most companies, these results would simply signal a commercial high point. For Poliavich, they marked the creation of a surplus that could be channeled into large-scale educational programs with measurable, lasting impact.

Gamifying Good: Applying MEGA Principles to Philanthropy

Poliavich sees clear parallels between the challenge of retaining player interest and the need to sustain donor and student engagement. The mechanics behind MEGA can be applied directly to charitable work, turning giving into a continuous and rewarding experience.

    • Donors could track real-time progress toward funding a school or training a teacher.
    • Communities could be recognized when educational milestones are reached.
    • Supporters could receive personalized updates that align with their specific passions, whether that is cultural preservation, STEM education, or early childhood development.

By making philanthropy interactive, supporters remain connected and motivated over the long term.

    Foundations of Purpose

Education, community, and compassion form the backbone of Uri Poliavich’s philanthropic vision. In 2020, he and his wife, Yael, launched the Yael Foundation with a guiding mission: No Jewish Child Left Behind. The goal is to ensure that Jewish heritage, language, and traditions remain accessible to every child, regardless of geography or family resources.

Today, the Yael Foundation operates in 37 countries, reaching over 13,500 children. It funds Sunday schools, kindergartens, teacher training programs in underserved areas, and brings modern digital learning tools to remote communities.

Alongside this, the Soft2Bet Foundation extends the company’s impact beyond cultural education. It addresses urgent global needs: providing children with access to quality education, delivering essential resources to struggling communities, protecting the environment through reforestation and clean energy projects, and funding animal rescue and wildlife preservation.

Soft2Bet Invest: Venture Capital with a Social Edge

In 2024, Poliavich expanded his vision with the launch of Soft2Bet Invest, a fifty-million-euro innovation fund for startups in iGaming and casual gaming. While the fund’s primary aim is to support commercially promising ventures, many of the technologies it backs, such as adaptive AI, accessibility-first design, and advanced engagement algorithms, have direct potential in education.

By financing scalable, self-sustaining companies, Soft2Bet Invest blends profit with tools that can benefit classrooms and nonprofit organizations, reinforcing the link between commercial success and social progress.

    The Philanthropy Flywheel

At Soft2Bet, giving back is not an afterthought. It is the engine that drives the company forward. Each act of social responsibility builds trust with regulators, inspires loyalty among players who value ethics, and draws in talent eager to work for something bigger than profit alone.

That trust fuels growth, and that growth generates greater resources for education, cultural preservation, and community support. It is a self-sustaining cycle where purpose powers profit and profit amplifies purpose, gaining momentum with every turn.

The Winning Streak That Shapes Generations

Poliavich’s ambitions go beyond simply funding programs. The same engagement frameworks that keep players active on MEGA could be adapted to keep students motivated in digital learning environments.

Lessons could be structured like game levels. Progress could be tracked visually, like achievements. Cultural education could be delivered as interactive experiences that rival the appeal of popular entertainment.

This is not theoretical. MEGA’s success has already shown that the right design can hold attention for hours at a time. Applying its proven methods to education could help overcome one of the sector’s biggest hurdles, which is sustaining student engagement over the long term.

While the house often has the advantage in iGaming, Uri Poliavich has built a system where the real jackpot is education, opportunity, and stronger communities; a profit with purpose that pays out for generations.
