Reality TV star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian has had a lot of success with her SKIMS clothing brand. But the company’s latest product, the Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap from its sleepwear line, has an unexpected fan. Oscar-winning actor Sir Anthony Hopkins (“The Rite”) has resurrected the iconic Hannibal Lecter for some fun viral marketing.
In a new video posted to Hopkins’ Instagram, he imitates the voice of his character in “The Silence of the Lambs” while wearing the face wrap. “Hello Kim, I’m already feeling 10 years younger,” he quips while fighting a smile. Because the new mask does look a bit like the one Hannibal sports in the 1991 film, to keep him from biting people.
Hopkins captioned the clip, “Thank you, Kim. Don’t be afraid to come over for dinner.” Where we are sure he will serve (not Kim’s) liver with fava beans and a nice Chianti.
