By the power of Grayskull, we have an update! Amazon MGM Studios has revealed the new title treatment for its upcoming “Masters of the Universe” movie.
The design is a complete throwback to the 1982 toy, which was adapted into a tv series, comic book, and feature film franchise. Say what you will about He-Man, but he certainly knows how to diversify his IP. This endearingly retro look is backed by the classic music sting from the 1980s cartoon series, just updated to have a fuller sound.

As the song continues, the logo begins to morph into different languages, erasing any doubt that this will be a worldwide release.
“Masters of the Universe” is directed by Travis Knight (“Bumblebee”), from a script by Chris Butler (“Missing Link”). Nicholas Galitzine (“Red, White & Royal Blue”) will star as He-Man and his Prince Adam. Alison Brie will play Evil-Lyn, Camila Mendes will play Teela, and Idris Elba will play Teela’s father, Man-at-Arms. Sam C. Wilson will play Trap Jaw, Kojo Attah will play Tri-Klops, and Hafthor Bjornsson will play Goat Man. Morena Baccarin will be playing Sorceress, and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson will be playing Fisto. James Purefoy will play King Randor, and Charlotte Riley will play Queen Marlena. Sasheer Zamata will play Suzie, Jon Xue Zhang will play Ram-Man, and Christian Vunipola will play Hussein. Jared Leto will be playing Skeletor.
“Masters of the Universe” hits theaters on June 5, 2026. You can check out the title treatment below.
