The film is still based on Cressida Cowell‘s fantasy novel series of the same name. Like its animated counterpart, it follows the adventures of Hiccup (Mason Thames) as he befriends a rare Night Fury dragon named Toothless. The unlikely pair set out to create a bond between Vikings and dragons.

“How to Train Your Dragon” also stars Nico Parker as Astrid, Julian Dennison as Fishlegs, Gabriel Howell as Snotlout, Bronwyn James as Ruffnut, and Harry Trevaldwy as Tuffnut. Nick Frost will reprise his role as Gobber from the animated films, alongside Gerard Butler returning as Stoick the Vast.

“How To Train Your Dragon” hits theaters on June 13th,2025. You can check out the new teaser below. We look forward to seeing the full version on Wednesday.
