“Venom 3” Gets Official Title, Early Release Date

Tom Hardy must feel like one cheeky boy. Not only has he managed to turn “Venom” into a trilogy, but he more than likely named the third installment. When he confirmed filming was actually happening, Hardy referred to “Venom 3” as “The Last Dance.” We speculated that this could be the actual film title. Turns out…it is!

Tom Hardy, “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” Sony Pictures

“Venom: The Last Dance” will be hitting theaters this October, instead of the previously listed November 8th. The date change is an intriguing choice. Had the film released on November 8th, it would have released with 20th Century Studios’ “The Amateur.” Now it will release with Universal and Blumhouse’s “The Wolfman” and Cinedigm’s “Terrifier 3.” Does anyone else see Venom and Art the Clown getting coffee together, or is it just me?

Hardy will continue his performance of Eddie Brock and the symbiote, Venom. He will be joined by Chiwetel Ejiofor and Juno Temple. Hardy co-wrote the screenplay with Kelly Marcel, who will also direct this time. Marcel and Hardy are joined by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, and Hutch Parker in producing.

Tom Hardy, “Venom 2” Sony Pictures

Little is known about the plot at this time, they are really keeping this one close to the vest. Many have asked the same question since the post credit scene from “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” Is there a chance for Spider-Man to appear? Maybe not MCU‘s Tom Holland, but maybe another version of the Web-Head.

“Venom: The Last Dance” will be in theaters on October 25th, 2024. It will be screened in IMAX and on Premium Large Format theaters.
