    Don’t you…forget about them.

If it has been a while since you’ve felt St. Elmo’s fire burnin’, burnin’ in you, you’re in luck! Hulu is making a new movie on theBratPack titled “Brats.” The upcoming feature-length documentary is produced by ABC News Studios, with alumni Andrew McCarthy (“Pretty in Pink,” “St. Elmo’s Fire”) writing and directing.

“Brats” will look at the groups’ origins, history, and impact on the pop culture landscape of the 1980s to today. By detailing the experiences of actors and filmmakers who worked on “The Breakfast Club,” “Sixteen Candles,” and more.

And what would a Brat Pack documentary be without a brat or two? The film will contain appearances by Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez, Ally Sheedy, Demi Moore, Jon Cryer, Timothy Hutton, and Lea Thompson. Sheedy revealed during an interview that she was reluctant to appear in the project until she heard Estevez was also participating.

“The Brat Pack has cast a long shadow over my life and career,” said McCarthy. “After all these years, I was curious to see how it had affected my fellow Brat Pack members. What I found was surprising — and liberating.” McCarthy wrote his memoir “Brat: An ’80s Story” in 2021, centering heavily on his time in the polarizing group.

“Brats” will be produced in partnership between ABC News Studios, Neon, and Network Entertainment. While no release date is set just yet, it is expected to hit Hulu sometime this year. We’ll keep you posted on updates as they become available.
