MAX’s “Harley Quinn” spinoff series “Kite Man: Hell Yeah!” dropped it’s first teaser! Of all the characters from the zany show, Kite Man was not on our radar for getting a spin-off.

Matt Oberg will be reprising his role as Kite Man for the spin-off, with Oscar nominee Stephanie Hsu portraying Golden Glider. The rest of the cast will include James Adomian as Bane, Natasia Demetriou as Malice, and Janelle James as Queen of Fables. Johnathan Banks, Michael Imperioli, Rory Scovel, and Judith Light will also be staring. Keith David will voice Darkside, and the late Lance Reddick will voice Lex Luthor.

“Kite Man and Golden Glider take their relationship to the next level by opening a bar in the shadow of Lex Luthor’s Legion of Doom. Nobody said serving cold ones to the most dangerous rogues outside of Arkham Asylum would be easy, but sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name, and how to hide a body,” the official story synopsis reads.

This spin-off series is being executive produced by “Harley Quinn” co-creators Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, and Dean Lorey. They are joined by “Harley Quinn” star Kaley Cuoco and Sam Register as fellow executive producers, Lorey will also be showrunner.

“We love the wild and fun world of ‘Harley Quinn‘ so much we just had to make a spin-off and who better to center it around than the outcast Kite Man,” Suzanna Makkos, Executive Vice President of Original Comedy and Adult Animation for HBO Max and Adult Swim, said. “Justin, Patrick, and Dean have created the perfect local hangout for Gotham City’s not-so-finest at Noonan’s, where bar patrons can blow off steam after a long day of mayhem.”

“Kite Man: Hell Yeah!” is set to debut on Max in 2024. Check out the teaser now! Hell Yeah!
