Alice Cooper Partners With Vampyre Cosmetics

Halloween is just around the corner. The time for goths to get gothier and the make-up to get spookier. And who knows spooky make-up better than gothic rock legend Alice Cooper? He happens to know a bit about make up given his iconic stage face. Which is why he’s teaming up with Vampyre Cosmetics to release a new line of make up, just in time for All Hallow’s Eve.

The line is themed after the singer himself, with palettes shaped like guitars and microphones, including a highly-anticipated update of his iconic “Whiplash” mascara.

The cosmetics company considers this a fantastic opportunity. And they’re thrilled to be working with Cooper. “Vampyre Cosmetics, the luxury beauty disruptor brand known for its vegan and cruelty free makeup, is thrilled to announce a collaboration with the undisputed Godfather of Shock Rock and the original makeup disruptor, Alice Cooper,” the company’s website says. “Alice’s use of makeup during his stage shows christened him one of the first male artists to show the art form of face makeup wasn’t a gender-specific product in an era where this was controversial.”

The make-up set is available for pre-order on their website. The set includes an amp palette, guitar palette, microphone whiplash mascara, and two microphone lipsticks only available during the pre-order sale. In lime green and hot pink!

In buying the cosmetics, you’re also supporting a business that makes their products cruelty free, vegan, and free of talc-based products, which can be drying to skin. So it’s win-win. You get an amazing make-up set, and they get your support for the work they do. Sounds good to us.

And if you think that Alice Cooper is a relic of the past, think again! The singer is releasing a new album in late August. “Road” will be released alongside Cooper’s extensive tour across the US.
