It’s time to revisit Acme Acres! “Tiny Toon Adventures” will get a much anticipated reboot with animated series “Tiny Toons Looniversity.” Warner Bros. Discovery has confirmed it will make its debut on both Max and Cartoon Network. It will serve as a new take on the show that took the world by storm in the early 1990s.

The new series will take place at the esteemed institution of higher hijinx learning. Where the Tiny Toons form long-lasting friendships with one another and perfect their cartoony craft while studying under the greatest cartoon characters in history, the Looney Tunes.

The series has been in production at Amblin Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation for the past few years and many weren’t expecting it any time soon. But during a presentation at Annecy International Animation Film Festival earlier this month, Warner Bros. Discovery showed off a slew of new animated projects, including “Tiny Toons Looniversity.” Unfortunately, this first look was only available to festival-goers, but the company has since confirmed it will be coming out sometime in September.

“Tiny Toons Looniversity” got a two-season straight-to-series order. We now know the episodes will be a half-hour long. Filmmaker Steven Spielberg will also be returning as an executive producer. Alongside Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios president Sam Register, and Amblin Television co-presidents Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank. With Erin Gibson acting as showrunner and co-executive producer along with Nate Cash (“Adventure Time”).

The series will hit streaming service MAX sometime this fall. We’ll keep you posted on updates about “Tiny Toons Looniversity” as they become available. In the meantime, its predecessor, “Tiny Toon Adventures” is available to purchase on Amazon Video, Apple TV, and  Google Play Movies. We hope they are just as toony and loony in the reboot as they are in the original series.
