Disturbed Frontman David Draiman Calls Tinder “Absolute S***show”

Sorry ladies, but David Draiman, lead singer for Disturbed, is officially off Tinder. The rocker has recently opened up about his divorce from former model/pro wrestler Lena Yada and getting back out there.

A fan tweeted at Draiman, trying to warn him about a “fake” Tinder account posing as him. But the singer confirmed it was really him. “Not fake lol,” he replied. “It’s me … You’d be surprised. It’s hard for a guy like me to meet the right woman. I’ll tell you, it’s been weird so far. Lots of scammers. Trying to figure out how to navigate this new terrain.”

Lol dude you see this?! I’m tagging you bc I believe it’s fake @davidmdraiman https://t.co/nJRz2VAw21

Well, apparently his experience on the app wasn’t great. By Monday, Draiman tweeted again, saying he left the dating site. “Holy fucking dumpster fire Batman, @Tinder was an absolute shitshow,” he wrote. “Scammers, grifters, fakes and phonies abound. What a colossal fucking nightmare. Deleted it. Dear lord.”’

While speaking about Disturbed’s new album “Divisive” on Consequence‘s Kyle Meredith With podcast, he explained how the new single “Don’t Tell Me” hit closer to home than he expected. “When I wrote the song, I didn’t realize how prophetic it was going to be,” he explained. “It ended up becoming not just about [guitarist] Dan [Donegan]’s divorce, unfortunately. It wasn’t exactly the same situation, but I definitely have added reverence for the song and it has added meaning and power to me, especially now.”

We hope Draiman and his single bandmate(s) find what they are looking for. Even without the joyous dumpster fire that is dating apps. As a chronically online single gal, they have my deepest condolences on getting back out there.

Disturbed is currently finishing up a brief North American tour. Then they will be embarking on some European festival dates in June. With a full summer US tour starting on July 11th, tickets for that are available here. You can check out the video for “Don’t Tell Me” below:
