If you wish to get to know people and see places you have never visited, now is the time to do that. New remote job opportunities allow you to be time-efficient with your working and personal life. You get to enjoy your life and experience unique cultures. When considering the comfort of your working environment, many aspects come into play along with your cybersecurity. And things may get confusing.

But there is a way to decide while working remotely: Global Remote Working Index. It essentially compiles various data of countries and offers help with an index for you to choose your next destination. The most significant factors include cybersecurity, socioeconomics, working environment accessibility, and healthcare, especially during this pandemic.

Additionally, the culture of the country, available resources, demographics, and geological aspects such as the weather, permits, and visas are considered to determine wherever you want to work next. With these things in mind, Europe is in demand for remote work. According to Statista, Europe ranked first with 28.7% of the participants willing to relocate if given the chance.

Here are the best 5 remote working locations according to the global remote working index: Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, Spain, and the Netherlands.

It also maintains one of the least working hours per week in Europe while allowing great work and life balance. Healthcare and welfare services are great. Crime rates are low. It is a warmer country where you can enjoy the sun’s heat.

The local prices are moderately cheaper. The cost of living and traveling is also cheaper. Although it has lower political stability, socioeconomics is still good. Remote working visas are easy to get, and internet speeds are higher.

    Netherlands

The Netherlands is one of the most expensive countries in Europe. Both traveling and local prices are high. Although the cost of living is high, it has strong economic and political status. There are many places for social activities. The country allows great work-life balance.

It has one of the highest internet speeds and the best cybersecurity. It does not have a remote working visa, but a company sponsor is required to work in the Netherlands. Additionally, the Netherlands invests in entrepreneurs and encourages them with its freelance and self-employment visas.
