that “Quantum Leap” reboot NBC has been eyeing has reportedly found their lead! Raymond Lee (“Mozart in the Jungle,” “Kevin Can F*** Himself“) will play Dr. Ben Seong, spiritual successor to Scott Bakula‘s Dr. Sam Beckett 30 years later.
Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt (“La Brea“) will write and executive produce this project. Original “Quantum Leap” creator and EP Don Bellisario, as well as EP/co-narrator Deborah Pratt, are involved as well.
Dr. Seong is described as “a world-renowned physicist working on a time travel project known as Quantum Leap.”
We’re all still kind of hoping Bakula at least makes a cameo. We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other news.
