Sony’s “Morbius” is still hanging on to a 2022 physical release. Sure, it’s been moved, delayed, and shunted around the schedule for years. But, it’s actually coming, relatively soon.
A brand new trailer being touted as the ‘final’ trailer was released this morning.
Jared Leto stars as eventual Spider-Man villain Dr. Michael Morbius. Adria Arjona stars as Michael’s girlfriend Martine Bancroft, who not only is important to the Vampire’s story, but also (in comics) ties into the Fantastic Four! Michael Keaton, Jared Harris, Tyrese Gibson, and Matt Smith also star.
Daniel Espinosa (“Life“) directs from a script by Netflix’s “Lost in Space” (and unfortunately “Gods of Egypt“) scribes Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless.
