    A highly anticipated event

Jon Favreau was very enthusiastic about it at a recently held CinemaCon panel. Favreau told the crowd at the event, “Star Wars made me fall in love with movies.”. Favreau co-wrote the script with Dave Filoni and Noah Kloor.

Din Djarin and apprentice Grogu must mount a high stakes mission to save the galaxy. Help defend it from an ever-present swarming of scattered Imperial warlords. The cast reveals Pedro Pascal returning as legendary bounty hunter Din Djarin. Sigourney Weaver enters the Star Wars universe as Colonel Ward.

Jeremy Allen White voices Rotta the Hutt in the new film. Martin Scorsese, surprisingly, voices a supporting role in the movie. He is an Ardennian shopkeeper, a role hinted in trailers.

Favreau and Filoni produce the film along with Ian Bryce and Kathleen Kennedy. Academy Award winner Ludwig Göransson returns to write the music. This is also the first theatrical Star Wars release since 2019.

The last film to hit theatres was The Rise of Skywalker. Filoni now runs the creative direction of the studio as chief creative officer. The Mandalorian & Grogu hits theatres and IMAX on May 22.
