United Airlines to Offer Lie Down Seating for Travelers

United Airlines just released a video on their YouTube channel showcasing their new lie down seating arrangement. Set to launch on more than 200 of their 787s and 777s, each plane will have up to 12 of these brand-new rows. What’s more is that they’re offering a mattress, pillows and if you have kids, a plushie. Now will they offer one plushie each kid or just one I don’t know, but I hope that the kids don’t fight over it.

If you’re a solo traveler this would be a luxury. Not only do you get to lie down but they’re also putting in the largest tv screens ever on planes. You’ll be able to connect your own devices via Bluetooth as well so you don’t have to buy the on plane headphones. And they’re offering more meal options along with appetizers. Heck I may go on a vacation by myself just to try these seats out. I wonder if they’d comp my seats if I wrote a review. Hint hint United…

Let’s be real here, seats like this have been in need for years, probably since we first started flying commercially in 1914. But hey, we barely knew what we were doing then. Now we have nice planes with better amenities and we’re not just sitting in a tin can.

You can check out the video below. And if you want to keep up with news about United, click the link here. I know I’ll be signing up because knowing they’re offering seats like this, well I want to try them out ASAP.
