Emmy-nominee Boman Modine will be making their feature directorial debut with the upcoming horror-thriller A Most Delightful Game. It’s now confirmed that Ruby Modine (Happy Death Day), Richard Harmon (Final Destination: Bloodlines), and Karin Konoval (The Planet of the Apes) will star!

The film is currency shooting in British Columbia, Canada and produed by Lazy Sunday and 10/09 Films.

A Most Delightful Game is set in the disntant bygone era of the 1980s. It follows a young woman on her quest to find out the truth behind her sister’ tragic passing. This leads her to a death-plagued highway where she must confront an unknown evil.

The script was co-written by Modine and Cynthia Mersten (Always a Bridesmaid). Special effect are being done by Amazing Ape, whose credits include Longlegs and Peacemaker.

While someone going on the hunt for answers about a death is common horror fodder, the cast here is interesting. Given Modine and Harmon involvement in 2 massively sucessfull horror IPs, its safe to say they can bring the terror. Konoval also has plenty under her belt with stints on shows like X-Files, iZombie, The Dead Zone, and TheTwilight Zone roboot.

We are incredibly curious to see what take Modine will have on the bare bones plot details. We’ll keep you posted on updates about A Most Delightful Game as it develops.
