There’s a rumor hitting the horror circuit and that’s that WWE star Rhea Ripley will have some role in Terrifier 4. It’s no secret to her fans that she LOVES the Terrifier franchise. There are numerous collaborations you can find with her and Art the Clown. Most notably at Hot Topic where you can find shirts of the duo.
She’s said publicly that she’d love to be in one of the films. Either as a compatriot to Art or as one of the scream queens. “Kill Me,” she said in one interview as she enthusiastically talked about the franchise.
Being a fangirl has it’s perks and this may well just be one of them.
What do we know about Terrifier 4 so far?
Terrifier 4 is in active development and is intended to be the final installment. This would explain in more detail Art the Clown’s story arc. This movie will explore Art’s background and pit him against the angel figure in an epic showdown. David Howard Thornton (Art the Clown) and Lauren LaVera (Sienna Shaw) are both expected to return.
It’s suspected that we may see the final film come out this October 2026. Unfortunately there has been no confirmation just yet. As of early 2026, the script is nearly complete, and pre-production is slated to begin in now in spring 2026.
WWE wrestler Rhea Ripley expressed a strong interest in joining the franchise. Damien Leone publicly responded that “the wheels are turning,” teasing a potential appearance. There’s also been fan demand and speculation, especially after she did a Terrifier-themed appearance in WWE.
Cameo or Full on Role?
With Terrifier seemingly coming to an end with this film, we’re hoping that Ripley would be a catalyst into another round of films. This could very well be the end to *this* story, but the beginning of another. Hopefully. I don’t see these types of slasher films ending with Terrifier 4 and I don’t see them ending this franchise so easily. Especially not when the fans crave new content. Here are some of the ways they could utilize Rhea Ripley beyond just a cameo appearance.
1. Final Girl (with a twist)
Instead of the typical “helpless survivor,” Ripley could play a brutal, fight-back final girl. She already has that intimidating, fearless energy, so she’d feel more like someone who can actually go toe-to-toe with Art the Clown. Think less screaming victim, more brawler who refuses to die.
2. Cult Member or Art Ally
The Terrifier universe has been leaning more into supernatural elements, so Ripley could easily fit as a follower or accomplice tied to Art’s chaos. Her gothic vibe would make her believable as someone who embraces the madness instead of running from it.
3. Memorable Cameo Kill (Fan Service)
Terrifier loves shocking moments. Ripley could appear as a high-profile cameo who gets an over-the-top, unforgettable kill scene. It wouldn’t require a huge acting role, but it would absolutely get fans talking.
Given the franchise has already used wrestlers before (like Chris Jericho), a cameo wouldn’t be surprising. But until an official cast list drops, it’s still speculation.
