Gaming release calendars rarely stay quiet for long, and 2026 is no exception. Several major titles are still scheduled for the months ahead, ranging from blockbuster sequels to long-awaited franchise returns.

In the game industry, fans track these announcements closely as popular gaming brands continue to spread across different corners of digital entertainment. That influence shows up in other formats too. A recent example is Monopoly Rush Hour, released by Big Time Gaming, one of the latest entries among upcoming slots tied to recognizable game brands.

With several major titles still arriving after March, the rest of 2026 could deliver some of the year’s biggest gaming moments.

GTA 6 Returns Players to a Modern Vice City

Rockstar Games is finally launching Grand Theft Auto 6, the first main entry in the series since 2013. The new game returns players to Vice City, the fictional version of Miami first seen in the early 2000s.

The map reportedly expands beyond the city into surrounding regions, including rural areas and wetlands. Rockstar has also confirmed two playable protagonists, continuing the multi-character system introduced in GTA V. Expect an enormous open world filled with side activities, dynamic events, and the detailed environmental storytelling Rockstar is known for.

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Reimagines Lara Croft’s Origins

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis brings Lara Croft back with a modern reinterpretation of the franchise’s early adventures.

The game mixes exploration, platforming, and puzzle solving while guiding players through ancient ruins and lost civilizations. The narrative reportedly revisits themes from the original Tomb Raider while updating the story structure for modern audiences. New motion capture performances and expanded environments aim to deliver a cinematic adventure built around Croft’s archaeological expeditions.

Control Resonant Expands Remedy’s Supernatural World

Remedy Entertainment continues the story of its paranormal universe with Control Resonant.

The sequel shifts the setting from the mysterious Oldest House to Manhattan. Players take control of Dylan Faden as supernatural forces begin spreading across the city. Combat still revolves around telekinetic abilities and shape-shifting weapons, but the new environment introduces parkour movement and larger combat arenas.

Phantom Blade Zero Combines Wuxia Action With Dark Fantasy

Phantom Blade Zero mixes traditional Chinese martial arts storytelling with dark fantasy elements.

Players control a warrior navigating a world filled with supernatural enemies and shifting realities. Combat focuses on fast melee attacks, counter systems, and weapon combinations. More than thirty weapon categories are expected, along with upgrade systems tied to boss battles and exploration.

Forza Horizon 6 Takes the Racing Festival to Japan

The next open-world racing entry, Forza Horizon 6, reportedly moves the Horizon Festival to Japan.

The map is expected to feature locations inspired by Tokyo, rural countryside roads, and the mountainous region around Mount Fuji. Drifting will play a major role in races, reflecting Japan’s automotive culture. Like previous Horizon games, players will be able to explore the world freely while completing races, challenges, and seasonal events.

    Hela Focuses on Cooperative Exploration

Hela offers a more relaxed adventure built around cooperation.

Players control small mice exploring forests, villages, and natural landscapes inspired by Scandinavian folklore. The story centers on helping a witch who has fallen seriously ill.

Gameplay emphasizes puzzle solving and teamwork. Players can experience the adventure alone or with friends through couch or online co-op.

Marvel’s Wolverine Brings Brutal Close-Combat Action

Insomniac Games is developing Marvel’s Wolverine, a PlayStation 5 exclusive built around the famous X-Men character.

Combat focuses on aggressive melee attacks using Wolverine’s claws, combined with stealth mechanics and environmental interactions. The story reportedly includes several well-known characters from the X-Men universe, creating a darker narrative than Insomniac’s Spider-Man games.

Fable Reboots One of Xbox’s Classic RPG Series

Microsoft is reviving Fable, a fantasy RPG franchise that originally debuted in 2004.

The new version returns to Albion, a whimsical fantasy world shaped by player choices. Decisions made during quests influence the story and the reactions of characters throughout the world. Developed by Playground Games, the reboot aims to modernize the series while keeping its distinctive humor.

Star Wars Zero Company Introduces Tactical Squad Combat

Star Wars Zero Company explores a genre rarely seen in the franchise: turn-based strategy.

Players lead a team of specialists during the Clone Wars while completing tactical missions. The squad includes soldiers, droids, and Jedi characters, each with unique abilities. The developers behind the project include veterans from the XCOM series, suggesting a deep tactical system built around squad management and strategic combat.
