Kingbull Ranger Review: A Vintage Electric Bike With 80-Mile Range and Dual Suspension

The Kingbull Ranger is designed as a vintage electric bike that blends retro motorcycle styling with modern electric performance. Built with long range, comfort, and affordability in mind, it also works as a practical two-seater electric bike, allowing riders to comfortably bring a passenger along for daily rides or relaxed weekend cruising

One of the Ranger’s biggest highlights is its maximum range of up to 80 miles. The bike is powered by a 48V 18Ah lithium battery, providing enough capacity for long commutes, city exploration, or extended rides without frequent charging. While real-world range varies depending on terrain, assist level, and rider weight, the large battery capacity still gives the Ranger a clear advantage compared with many entry-level e-bikes. Even when used as a 2-person electric bike, the Ranger can still maintain solid range performance for longer trips.

Comfort is another major strength. The bike features a dual suspension system, combining a front suspension fork with a rear spring shock. Together with 20×4.0-inch CST fat tires, the setup absorbs bumps, rough pavement, and uneven terrain effectively. This results in a noticeably smoother ride across city streets, gravel paths, and light off-road surfaces. The suspension also helps maintain stability when riding with two people, which further supports the Ranger’s usability as a two-seater electric bike.

In terms of design, the Ranger stands out from most traditional e-bikes. Its frame follows a retro motorcycle-inspired layout, giving it the character of a Retro electric bike rather than a typical commuter model. The long bench-style seat and compact 20-inch frame reinforce the classic aesthetic while also making space for a passenger. Altogether, the riding experience feels closer to an electric Moped bike, combining vintage styling with modern electric mobility.

Another standout factor is the Ranger’s pricing. With an early launch price in the $700 range, it positions itself as a highly competitive option in the fat-tire e-bike category. Considering the combination of long range, dual suspension, and strong motor performance, the Ranger offers a compelling value for riders looking for a feature-rich vintage electric bike without entering the premium price tier.

The Ranger is equipped with a 48V 750W rear hub motor capable of delivering 1500W peak power and 80Nm of torque, allowing the bike to reach speeds up to 31 MPH. It also includes a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain, hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors, and a 3.5-inch full-color LCD display that shows speed, battery level, and assist mode. Integrated lighting, such as a headlight, brake light, and turn signals, improves visibility and safety, while cruise control adds extra convenience for longer rides. Together, these features create a riding experience that feels closer to an electric Moped bike, while still maintaining the flexibility of a pedal-assist e-bike.

    Final Thoughts

Overall, the Kingbull Ranger vintage electric bike delivers a balanced mix of retro styling, long-range capability, and comfort-focused features. With its 80-mile range, dual suspension system, retro design, and accessible pricing, it stands out as a versatile option for riders looking for both performance and personality.

For riders searching for an affordable two-seater electric bike that captures the charm of a Retro electric bike while offering the usability of an electric Moped bike, the Ranger provides a unique and enjoyable riding experience. 🚲
