This season the show intensifies with the Dance of Dragons civil war. It will focus on major battles including the brutal Battle of the Gullet as the opener. The season will feature Rhaenyra (Milly Alcock (young); Emma D’Arcy (adult)) taking control of King’s Landing, Daemon in the Riverlands, the rise of the “Winter Wolves,” and more high-stakes dragon action as it acts as the next to last chapter.
Other significant conflicts from Fire & Blood expected include The Fishfeed, The Butcher’s Ball, and the First Battle of Tumbleton. The war continues for both sides, with Aemond (Ewan Mitchell) and Daemon’s (Matt Smith) rivalry heating up, and the introduction of new characters like Roderick Dustin.
The season will consist of 8 episodes and releases sometime this summer.
