UPDATE: Sailor Moon now scheduled to air on Adult Swim beginning March 9 at 5 a.m. That’s two weeks after the initial announcement date of February 23rd. Also important to note that the platform is due to lose the rights to the show on May 31st so this run may be short-lived if they don’t renew the contract.
Some big changes are coming to Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim late-night block of programming. Starting on February 23rd, “Sailor Moon” will return to Adult Swim, replacing “Dragon Ball Z Kai.”
An odd twist since “Sailor Moon” was removed and replaced by “Dragon Ball Z Kai” last year.

Based on a Manga of the same name, “Sailor Moon” (aka “Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon”) was launched in 1992 and ran for 5 seasons. It follows the adventures of middle school student Usagi Tsukino, who is given the power to become a Pretty Soldier. She soon joins a small group of fellow Sailor Soldiers who must defeat a barrage of villains intent on destroying Earth.
“Sailor Moon” will return to Adult Swim on February 23, 2026. You can check out an original trailer for the show below:
