For fans of “ONE PIECE” the second season will bring even more adventure. This is exciting because the crew will be entering the Grand Line, a place even more like the wild west than the East Blue. The Grand Line, a dangerous, unpredictable, and narrow sea route which stretches perpendicular to the Red Line, is no easy feat for ANY pirate. In anticipation of the second season of the live-action series on Netflix, Eiichiro Oda has issued a letter to old and new fans of the series.

The Translation of this letter is as follows:

“It’s almost ready!! With Season 1, we faced the world’s question head-on: “Can ONE PIECE really be adapted into live-action?!” = and the answer spoke for itself, reaching the Top 10 in 93 countries and territories, and No. 1 in 46! Wow!!

Together with the stellar production team that delivered those brilliant results, we bring you Season 2, which will head into the Grand Line, the most formidable sea in the world. In other words, all the conventions that were established in Season 1 will be shattered. A parade of Devil Fruit users, a race of giants never before seen, adorable creatures, hard-hitting action, and stunning VFX – this season is packed with even more highlights!! Let yourself be drawn into an immersive experience that’s unique to live-action.

May this show reach every adventurous spirit across the world! One month until we set sail. Get ready!!”

    Eiichiro Oda 2026.2

The second season promises the introduction of a few fan favorite characters. Tony Tony Chopper the crew’s cute ship doctor and Nico Robin are close on the horizon. The crew will have adventures in Loguetown, Reverse Mountain (excited to meet Laboon!), Little Garden and Drum Island. Other characters we’ll be meeting are the villains in Baroque Works, a criminal organization. A few of those members who become unexpected allies throughout the story.

Gear up and get ready to sail! “ONE PIECE” season 2 hits Netflix March 10th.
