    ZOA Energy Drink Honest Review

ZOA Energy genuinely surprised me. Most energy drinks are either overly sweet or taste artificial, but ZOA strikes a balance that makes it easy to drink while still tasting good. I tried three flavors and each one had a clean, smooth taste with no aftertaste, which is a big win for me.

I usually reach for zero sugar Monster because they’re easy to find and have strong flavor, but I rarely finish them. They tend to make me feel jittery, followed by an inevitable crash. ZOA is different. The energy feels steady and controlled, without the anxious or overwhelming feeling that often comes with other energy drinks. I’m not sure if that’s due to the green tea–derived caffeine or the cleaner ingredient profile, but the result is noticeable. You feel alert without feeling overstimulated.

Another thing that stood out is how ZOA feels more hydrating. Instead of forcing down something unpleasant just for the caffeine, it actually feels like you’re giving your body something useful. That likely comes from its mix of electrolytes, essential vitamins, and natural caffeine sources. It’s also keto-friendly, which makes it an easy choice for people dieting or watching their sugar intake. And an easy choice for type 2 diabetics who want to cut sugar completely from their diets. OH and did I mention, these drinks are only 10 calories!?

The flavors I tried were Cherry Limeade, Frosted Grape, and Fruit Punch. All three were solid, but Cherry Limeade was easily my favorite. It had the perfect balance of tart and sweet and didn’t feel heavy or artificial. Second place for me was the Frosted Grape. These three flavors come in a big box with 6 of each flavors so that was very convenient because I could buy in bulk for cheaper than buying a sugar free monster individually. Not only that but each of these flavors were good so even when you get to the end of the box you’re not disappointed.

Does it help that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson created this healthier drink? Yes, but not in one of those “I must buy whatever he’s selling” ways. It helps because I know that he is a fitness icon and someone who doesn’t buy into the more gimmicky and bad for you ingredients. As long as I’ve been aware of this person, he’s been clean cut and straight forward. “Can you SMELL what the Rock is… drinking?” Yes, and that’s ZOA energy drinks. LOL

Between the cleaner energy, lack of crash, and better overall taste, ZOA has become my go-to energy drink. Moving forward, this is the only energy drink I plan on drinking. I know that may seem like an exaggeration but I mean it.
