Michelob ULTRA has just released its Super Bowl 2026 ad spot. The commercial has Kurt Russell leading Lewis Pullman through a “Rocky”-esque training montage in the snowy mountains.
The spot also stars hockey player TJ Oshie and 2 time Olympic gold medalist snowboarder Chloe Kim.

The Super Bowl ad opens on a ski resort where Greg (Pullman) keeps losing races down the hill with his friends. Which wouldn’t be so bad if they didn’t always bet “last one down buys the Ultras.” Greg has apparently done this so many times that it’s an ongoing joke that he always picks up the tab.
That is when a stranger (Russell) promising help arrives. He subjects Greg to a training montage that, of course, includes hauling cases of Michelob ULTRA. All fittingly scored with Survivor’s 1982 song “Eye of the Tiger.”
The next time his friends challenge him to a race, the soundtrack changes to M.O.P.’s 2000 track “Ante Up.” Greg proceeds to ski better than anyone else, including Oshie and Kim. Meaning someone else is now stuck with the tab, the curse is lifted, and Greg is free.
